Terms of Service & Refund Policy

1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by bipluk ("we", "our", or "us") via our website, dashboard, or Web MIDI utilities, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not access or use the platform.
2. Plans, Billing & Refunds
Personal Plan ($39 one-time): For individual, non-commercial use only. One user. Bedroom studios and personal synth collections. No client work, rentals, or repair-shop use.
bipluk+ Studio ($399 one-time): For commercial use at a single physical location. Same features as Personal. Covers producers, engineers, and small studios doing client-facing work.
Commercial / B2B: Repair shops, multi-location studios, and site-wide deployments can include white-labeling, multi-site licensing, and dedicated onboarding under a separate written agreement. Contact halfradiationllc@gmail.com.
All listed plans are one-time lifetime payments. There are no recurring fees or automatic renewals.
Refund Policy: All lifetime purchases are final and strictly non-refundable under any circumstances. No partial refunds or returns will be issued.
License compliance: Personal is for individual, non-commercial use only. If you register with a business or custom email domain (anything other than a standard personal inbox like Gmail, iCloud, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.), you must purchase bipluk+ Studio — we automatically route those signups to Studio at checkout. Using Personal for commercial work, client repairs, rentals, or shop use is a terms violation. We may suspend the account until you upgrade to Studio or obtain a bespoke commercial agreement.
3. Hardware & SysEx Disclaimer (As-Is Clause)
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY.
bipluk uses the browser-native Web MIDI API to transmit System Exclusive (SysEx) data directly to and from physical synthesizer hardware. You acknowledge that vintage synthesizer hardware (specifically devices built in the 1980s and 1990s) operates on legacy firmware and older hardware architectures.
No Warranty: ALL PLATFORM SERVICES, TOOLS, SIMULATORS, AND HARDWARE TRANSFER UTILITIES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. We make no warranty that hardware communication will be error-free or that older synthesizer CPUs will not crash or experience buffer overflows. We disclaim all liability for physical device failures, memory card/RAM corruption, factory reset loss, or physical damage to your hardware synths or MIDI interfaces arising from using our platform. You are solely responsible for ensuring your physical devices are backed up before initiating transfers.
4. User Accounts and MIDI Files
To access certain features, you must register for an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
You retain ownership of all SysEx files and preset banks uploaded to the platform. By uploading files, you grant bipluk a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, parse, index, and generate Web Audio simulations of these files solely to render the services to you.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall bipluk, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or hardware functionality, resulting from your use of or inability to use the platform.
6. About Half Radiation LLC
bipluk is owned and operated by Half Radiation LLC, an independent developer studio specializing in web-native MIDI solutions and cloud libraries for legacy hardware. We are dedicated to keeping vintage synthesizers connected and searchable in the cloud.
